01Who this notice covers

EduFeed24 is a FEED24 Group platform explaining South African basic education systems. This notice covers edufeed24.co.za and the launch subscription form on this website. Separate platforms may publish additional notices when they launch.

02Information you provide

The launch form requests your email address and selected interests, such as free resources, Shop, Courses and Directory. We also keep the consent and subscription status associated with your request. You may browse without subscribing. An email address is needed to deliver requested updates; selections required by the form determine which notices you receive.

If you email us, we receive your contact details, message and any attachments you send. Please avoid sending identity documents, confidential school records or information about individual learners unless a specific, lawful process requires it.

03Technical information

Website hosting, security and form services may process IP addresses, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps and error records. These records help deliver the website and investigate misuse. Contact us for information about the services and retention periods relevant to your personal information.

04Purposes and lawful processing

We use subscription information to send the updates you request and manage your preferences. We use correspondence to respond to enquiries. Limited technical records support website delivery and security.

Processing must have a lawful basis appropriate to its purpose, such as consent, a legal obligation or a legitimate interest assessed against your rights. Providing an email address for an enquiry does not, by itself, subscribe you to marketing.

05Launch notices and your choices

The launch subscription form is intended to collect your consent to the updates you select. We send notices within the interests and scope agreed at sign-up. EduFeed24 consent does not automatically authorise unrelated FEED24 sector marketing.

You can stop marketing using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us. We may retain a minimal suppression record to respect that choice and an appropriate record of consent. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

06Service providers and disclosure

The launch form uses MailerLite for subscription management and email delivery. Hosting, email and security providers may process information needed for their services under appropriate arrangements. Authorised team members may access information for the purposes described here.

07International processing

External providers may process information outside South Africa. Before such transfers occur, the responsible party must establish an applicable lawful transfer arrangement under POPIA. Contact us for information about international processing relevant to your personal information.

08Retention and security

Information should be kept only as long as required for its disclosed purpose, a lawful obligation or another permitted reason. Subscription records, correspondence, technical logs, backups and suppression records may require different periods. Contact us to ask about retention periods or request deletion of your personal information.

Appropriate access controls, secure connections, provider arrangements and incident procedures should protect information. No website can promise absolute security. Security compromises will be assessed and notifications made where the law requires.

09Your rights and complaints

Subject to applicable conditions, you may request access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information or deletion of information that should no longer be held. You may object to relevant processing, withdraw consent and complain about the handling of your information.

Email our privacy contact with the nature of your request. We may reasonably verify identity before disclosing records, without collecting unnecessary identification. You do not have to complain to us before approaching the Information Regulator.

10Children and external platforms

Our launch subscription form is intended for adults. It is not a channel for collecting learner case files. Processing a child’s personal information requires an applicable lawful authorisation. If information about a child has been submitted improperly, contact us so we can assess and address it.

11Changes to this notice

We will update this notice when the website, purposes or providers change. The published version will state its effective date. A policy update does not replace fresh consent where that is required.
